Good conversations need trust on both sides.

Dostify is a social conversation platform for voice calls — not a dating, escort, adult-content or in-person meeting service. Here's how we approach safety, and what's still being finalised.

How we approach safety

  • Companion identity verification

    Companions verify their identity with PAN, accept a code of conduct and have their profile and voice intro reviewed before going live.

  • Respectful conduct

    Clear guidelines keep conversations friendly and non-sexual. Conduct that breaks them can lead to action on the account.

  • Privacy-conscious by design

    Calls happen inside the app and your phone number stays private. Companions' PAN details are never shown to callers.

  • Clear call pricing

    The applicable rate is shown before you connect, and calls are paid from a balance you control.

  • Payment & call support

    Money debited but balance not added? Call dropped? Raise a ticket linked to the payment or call.

  • Reporting & complaints

    Report or block someone right from the app, or raise a ticket that you can track until it's resolved.

Community expectations

What we expect from everyone on Dostify

These standards apply to callers and companions alike. Breaking them can lead to warnings, restrictions or removal from the platform.

  • Conversations stay friendly, respectful and non-sexual.
  • No harassment, hate speech, threats or bullying.
  • No requests for personal contact details or in-person meetings.
  • No requests for money or payments outside the app.
  • Either person can end a call at any time, for any reason.

Privacy principles

Designed with privacy in mind

  • Collect what's needed. We aim to collect only the information required to run calls, payments, payouts, verification and support.
  • Use it for stated purposes. Information is used to provide and secure the service, meet legal obligations and help you when you contact us.
  • Be transparent. Our Privacy Policy (currently in draft) will set out exactly what we collect and why.

Reporting & complaints

How to raise a concern

  1. 1End the call if you feel uncomfortable.
  2. 2Use Report in the app — choose a reason, add details and block them if you want.
  3. 3Our team reviews the report, and you can follow up through a support ticket.
  4. 4Where guidelines were broken, we may take action on the account involved.

In an emergency, or if you believe someone is in immediate danger, call India's emergency number 112. Dostify support is not an emergency service.

Transparency

What's in place — and what's still being finalised

We'd rather be clear than over-promise. Here is where things stand.

Part of the Dostify approach

  • Companions verify their identity with PAN, accept a code of conduct and are reviewed before going live.
  • Calls happen inside the app — phone numbers aren't shared between callers and companions.
  • Report or block someone from the app, including straight after a call.
  • Support tickets for call, payment and account issues that you can track in the app.
  • Each companion's per-minute rate is shown before you call, paid from a prepaid balance you control.

Still being finalised

  • Review times for reports and tickets, which depend on volume and the nature of the concern.
  • Data retention periods, which will be set out in the final Privacy Policy.
  • Refund eligibility for call and payment issues, which will be set out in the final Refund Policy.

We don't claim end-to-end encryption, guaranteed anonymity or live monitoring of calls.

Safe use

Simple habits that keep you safe

  • Protect your payments

    Never share your UPI PIN, card PIN, CVV or OTP with anyone — including a companion or someone claiming to be Dostify.

  • Keep personal details private

    Avoid sharing your phone number, address, workplace or social media handles during a call.

  • End calls that feel wrong

    If a conversation makes you uncomfortable, you can end it straight away.

  • Report concerns

    Tell us about behaviour that breaks our guidelines so our team can review it.
